Specialist care support

Conditions We Support

We provide specialist home care and supported living for people living with a wide range of conditions, from autism and learning disabilities to dementia, mental health needs, and physical disability.

Expert, Condition-Specific Support

Effective care for someone with a specific condition requires more than general training — it requires an understanding of how that condition affects daily life, communication, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. At Nevara Care Services, we work to match clients with carers who have relevant experience and genuine understanding, and we build care plans that address the practical and emotional dimensions of each condition.

Expert, Condition-Specific Support

Conditions we have experience with

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Structured, predictable, sensory-aware support that respects communication preferences and reduces anxiety through consistency.

ADHD

Practical help with structure, reminders, and routine to reduce overwhelm and support daily functioning.

Dementia

Calm, familiar, reassuring care at home, focused on familiar faces, consistent routines, and gentle orientation to reduce distress.

Mental Health Conditions

Non-judgmental, steady daily support that promotes routine, social connection, medication adherence, and emotional stability.

Physical Disability

Support with mobility, transfers, personal care, and all the practical tasks that become difficult when physical ability is limited.

Learning Disabilities

Independence-building support that fosters confidence, life skills, and meaningful community participation.

Dementia Care at Home

Dementia is one of the most challenging conditions families face, but remaining at home is often the best environment for someone living with memory loss. A consistent carer who knows the person — their history, preferences, and habits — provides a level of reassurance and safety that is very difficult to replicate elsewhere. We train our carers in dementia-specific approaches and work closely with families to ensure the home environment is adapted appropriately.

Support in the Community

Many of our clients benefit from supported access to the community alongside home-based care. This might mean accompanying someone to a day centre, supporting them at a social club, helping them navigate public transport, or simply ensuring they can enjoy a safe outing to the shops or a park. For people with conditions that affect confidence or communication, this structured community access can make a profound difference to quality of life.
