Why Work With Nevara Care Services?

What We Look For in a Carer

We recruit on character as much as experience. The most important qualities are kindness, reliability, punctuality, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the people you support. We welcome experienced carers as well as people new to the profession who have the right values. Full training, shadowing, and ongoing supervision are provided so you can build your skills with confidence.

  • Genuine warmth and empathy
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Good communication with clients and families
  • Respect for privacy, culture, and dignity
  • A willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can guide you through this)

What the Role Involves

Our care workers support adults in their own homes. Depending on the client, your day might include helping someone with their morning routine, preparing a meal, accompanying them to a GP appointment, or simply sitting with them for a chat and a cup of tea. Some roles involve personal care; others focus more on companionship and practical support. All roles involve clear care plans, regular check-ins with coordinators, and proper documentation.

Common questions about joining us

Do I need previous care experience?

Not always. We welcome applicants who are new to care as long as they have the right values and attitude. Full training is provided, including manual handling, safeguarding, and condition-specific support.

What areas do you cover?

We primarily operate across Newham, Ilford, Barking, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and surrounding East London boroughs.

What hours would I work?

We offer a range of shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We try to build schedules that suit your availability as well as the needs of our clients.

Is there progression available?

Yes. We actively support carers who want to develop into senior care roles, coordination positions, or specialist support roles. We fund training and qualifications for the right people.
